OUT OF THIS WORLD READING PLAN
2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” The more time we spend reading scripture, the more the Holy Spirit can speak to us and transform our hearts and minds.
With that in mind, we have created a bible reading plan to accompany our summer 2025 teaching series, “Out of This World.” This series focuses on the parables of Jesus and what he teaches us about his Kingdom through these parables.
For each week of our teaching series, there are anywhere from 1 or 3 short passages of scripture that contain the parable Jesus used or other related passages.
I want to encourage you to take your time and read each passage slowly and prayerfully. As you read, ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand what is being taught and encourage you to engage with Jesus’ Kingdom based on what you have learned through the scriptures you are reading. Since each passage is relatively short, you are encouraged to read that week’s scripture each day that week. Reading and re-reading scripture is one of the best ways to know it, understand it, and allow it work in you and through you.
I trust you will enjoy your time in God’s Word and that you will allow it work in your heart and life as you make your way through this series on the Kingdom of Jesus.
